Penrhyn Bay Caravan Park is situated on the coast 1 mile from the village of Llanfwrog, 6 miles from Valley and 9 miles from the town of Holyhead.
The Park is large and spacious with Static caravans on one grassy field & a separate field for Touring Vans and Tents. The grounds are mostly level with some undulating areas but tarmac roads service most parts of the park & the park has outdoor electric lighting. Parking outside each unit is on grass.
Access to the beach is via a dirt track which is about 2.5 metres wide with a slope at the beach end.
There is level parking outside the reception & shop on a tarmacadam drive. A ramp for prams and wheelchairs provides access.
There are 2 toilet blocks, 1 shower block and a separate disabled toilet/shower unit which can be accessed with a wheel-chair and has a level parking area outside.
The patio area outside the swimming pool is fully accessible to wheelchairs, however, there are a couple of steps at the entrance to the pool. Access to the pool is by 2 separate ladders.
The Bus service runs a couple of times a day from Llanfwrog (1mile) and more frequently from the next village of Llanfachraeth (3 miles). The nearest train station is at Valley (6 miles) and the main station is at Holyhead (9miles) where the Port is situated for the Ferry boat to Ireland.
There is a good Mobile phone reception at Park for most networks.
